MARDI GRAS

Elementary School pupils roamed around the familiar town areas wearing tribal costumes and dancing to the ethnic beat. A number of schools competed during the Dance Competition. That Day was too hot that I never managed to stay at the Town Plaza during the contest.

FESTIVAL SOUVENIRS

If i were to post a status update on the Facebook Group 'Taga Santa Maria Laguna ka Kung', I would say, ('Taga Santa Maria Laguna ka Kung') 'may MARILAG FESTIVAL T-shirt ka!'. This apparel was sold in Brgy. Parang Booth for P250 (as i remember). I got it for only P50. The secret? I gave plain shirt to Mang Bong a week before.

Ka Ramil Garraton of Barangay Dos offering professional artwork service
for a very low price.
Looking forward for the next MARILAG festival to write about. If you are a resident of Santa Maria who is currently working in another place, consider marking your calendars and celebrate with us!  :)
